Join our winning team as a Technical Services Representative. This is aremoteposition that may be located anywhere in the Great Lakes region in the United States, with travel required. In this role, you will be responsible for resolving all technical, safety, and product stewardship needs for our chlor alkali customers and distribution terminals and will have a direct impact on customer safety/stewardship and customer satisfaction.

Technical Services Representative Essential Job Functions:

• Completes product stewardship qualification of new customers; re-qualifies existing customers via site assessments.
• Manages completion of customer corrective actions arising from department stewardship evaluations of customer facilities.
• Provides chlor alkali product safety and handling training to customers.
• Helps customers resolve technical issues associated with handling chlor alkali chemicals.
• Develops and maintains Olin technical literature.
• Assists in root cause investigation and corrective action implementation for customer chemical delivery incidents.

• Must meet one of the following requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Physics, Engineering, Health & Safety, Biology or related science field plus minimum of 4 years of experience in chemical industry; OR
  • High school diploma or equivalent plus minimum of 9 years of experience in the chemical industry
• Chlor alkali experience strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of chemistry and engineering principles;Knowledge of chlor alkali chemistry and EHS principles is preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Exceptional communication skills both written and oral.
• Ability to build relationships quickly and engage with customers closely to implement process changes.
• Strong time management skills and ability to manage multiple projects with changing priorities.
• Must be willing and able to travel up to 40%. Must possess a valid US driver's license.

Employees can expect to be paid a salary of approximately $96,000 - 140,000. This salary is only an estimate and may vary based on an applicant's location, market data/ranges, an applicant's skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications, and other relevant factors.
